If you are below 6.3 you may have acidosis, symptoms include: insomnia, water retention, migraine headaches, low blood pressure, strong perspiration, sensitivity to acidic foods. It is recommended to consume more raw foods and less meat as meat is acidic. Supplementing with kelp, alfalfa, apple cider vinegar, enzymes with hydrochloride, potassium and greens are alkalining and can balance your pH.

If you are above 7.0 you may have alkalosis, which is less common, symptoms include: nervousness, sore muscles, edema, allergies, chronic indigestion, and menstrual problems. It can be caused by pharmaceutical drugs, excessive vomiting, poor diet, and high cholesterol. It is recommended to consume 80% grains, and 20% fresh fruit, chicken, fish, and eggs. Avoid salt. Supplementing with MSM, and Vitamin B complex can increase acidity and hydrochloride.
